Not everyone has easy access to hospital treatment. We are here to help them.

Watch our founding story

Taking them there

Our mission is to help young people with cancer access the services they need to survive, and to eliminate the stresses and costs of travelling to and from lifesaving treatments.

Hope, not pity

Through research and the trialling of new solutions, we want to transform how children get to medical care, while supporting their families through some of the most challenging times they’ll live through.

Whatever it takes

We aren’t waiting for the future to arrive or for our names to be called, because for thousands of young people with cancer, waiting is never an option. We need to come together and do this for them.

We’re on a journey to create a dedicated transport service for young people with cancer in the UK.

We’ll do whatever it takes, and we know you will too. Join us.

Your generosity gives more than transport

Education

Better and dedicated transport in the UK, ensures children with cancer don’t miss too much school because of long journeys or having to stay near to treatment centres.

A hand when it’s most needed

A diagnosis of childhood cancer is painful enough. A dedicated transport service helps families reducing the burden of significant financial and emotional duress caused by travelling to treatment.

Time for what matters most

Giving families in the UK access to faster, easier transport for their sick children, frees up their time, enabling them to spend more time on what is important and with the people that matter.

Leading the team

  • Fernando Miguel Pinho

Before founding Please Take Me There, Miguel worked in arts management. After witnessing children with cancer struggling to access treatment and his experience of seeing his brother go through cancer, he founded Please Take Me There.

  • Natalie Taylor-Scotcher

Natalie is the face and voice of what we do. She went through cancer herself shortly after the birth of her son, which was a big part of the reason that she decided to join the team. She has trained as an actor and has a degree in psychology. Natalie loves Harry Potter, enjoys a tasting menu in a good restaurant, and spending time with her son.

  • Alex Ruczaj

Alex is the person to know in Cambridge - she works extensively to give our little team a presence in the city! She specialises in marketing and promotion - creating, implementing and managing our events, and making sure that everything runs according to plan. Alex is a creative writer, and loves to travel and get on the dance floor.

Get to know us a little bit better

All our work is positive and inspiring. You’ll never see us shaking buckets in the street, making cold calls, going door-to-door, or using distressing photos or videos. We aim to be as encouraging and empowering as possible – both for the people who support and partner with us and the young people and families we’re working to help.
